Why are there tire marks on my brand new parking lot?
Tire "scuffing" is common with Seal coating. With traffic, these tire marks will blend in and no longer be visible on your new parking lot.
Why can I still see the cracks in my asphalt?
Sealer is not designed to fill cracks, but it seals the bottom of the crack to protect the base. If sealer is applied too thick, it will become brittle and chip off.
Why was one coat of sealer applied to the edges?
Work around curbs is done by hand with a heavier coat than our equipment would apply. If two coats are applied at this thickness, the Seal coating will become brittle and crack.
Why Does the sealer appear to be different colors in areas?
Different weather conditions cause sealer to cure at different rates. On a sunny, warm day, sealer will dry a different color than on an overcast day, because it is curing at a faster speed.
